Hi Mary,
I'm so Sorry to hear that Stretch is not
feeling so good these days. I know you must
be stressed out because it is so scary to
see your piggie bleeding from "down there".
And from what I understand, bladder stones
are much more painful for a boy piggie because
they can't pass them. Poor Baby. Did you see
the stones on his x-rays? The reason I ask
is because the first Vet I took my Brownie
Bear to a while back told me that my pig
didn't have stones. But, she didn't show me
the x-rays. And later, I took her to a much
better Vet and found that she actually did
have stones...Sigh!

I hope you are able to find a Vet that will
let you pay in monthly payments, but I also
hope that he/she is a qualified Vet and has lots
of experience with guinea pig surgeries (I just
wouldn't want your Baby Stretch to become a
Guinea Pig--no pun intended).

Also, I know that everyone doesn't carry credit
cards, but if you had one, maybe you could charge
the surgery on the card? I know you would have
to pay some interest over a period of time, and I
for one am totally Against paying interest, but
that would be better than watching your baby suffer.

I truly do feel your pain since my Brownie Bear
just went through bladder surgery and it's so
hard to see them in pain when they relieve themselves.
I just hope you are able to find a good surgery
Vet that will understand your situation and will
remove the stones. Brownie Bear and I send Healing
Wheeeeeeeks to Stretch and we are keeping you in
our Thoughts and Prayers...

      Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeps,
         Leah...Slave to Brownie Bear :-)
