Leah, My Tacoma has arthritis in his knee and shoulder joints. It showed up very clearly on x-ray. I give him Metacam about every other day. Just a few drops. He doesn't like it, so I have to hold him. Once he knows I mean business he will take it. He is 6 years and 5 months old. I tried searching the internet on arthritis in GPs and didn't turn up much either. Dee
