[Gpdd] [Health] Mites

We finally got rid of all the lice last week then our AC went out on Friday.  I kept freezing water bottles all weekend long and putting them in the piggy cages to cool them off.  I also froze wash cloths and put them on top of the pigloos keeping the breathing holes at the top open.  Thankfully, the AC man finally got our AC fixed today.  Tonight when I was holding Wuinea though, I noticed some scabs on her shoulder and her nose is breaking out also.  I am pretty sure it is mites.  I called Pets-Mart and asked if they had anything that would get rid of the mites.  The lady told me they have a special spay called, "Mite Spray for Guinea Pigs and Rabbits".  She told me it would get rid of all the mites without the piggy having to go to the vet and get an injection or anything.  Has anyone ever tried this before?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  
Also all that is in the Hurricane's path please be careful.  I"m getting really worried about this one.  I think it's headed straight our way.  All the shelves at Wal-Mart are already empty and they are calling for Mandetory evacuations in some places over here.  I don't know what I would do if they make us evacuate.  They won't let us bring pets with us to the evacuation places but I just couldn't leave my piggies behind.  Please keep us in your prayers and maybe by some miracle this hurricane will die down before it hits land.  Keep your paws crossed!
