[Gpdd] [HEALTH] Tumour? operatung?

I wrote a while ago to the list about Abby (just turned 5) as she had a bad eye infection, well i have just had her out and there is a lump, slightly larger than a pea between the area of near her genital area and the inside area of her leg. Its firm and feels attached to something - obviuosly i have not touched it too much in case it hurts her.
 
I am taking her to the vet tomorrow hopefully if they have space on their books.
 
I think i want her to have the operation - what are her chances of pulling through the operation as i get scared stiff about operations and none of mine since i've been keeping them have had to have an operation. Is the a special anaethetic the vet should use? is there anything i can do?
