[Gpdd] [CARE] a vet for Adam

I've just seen Dave and Jamie's message about getting a vet for Adam. I
don't know whether you are in the UK - you could look at the Royal
College of Veterinary Surgeons website as you can search for vets with a
special interest (www.rcvs.ac.uk and select from the home page).

My advice would be NOT to wait to see if the molars will wear down, the
chances are that they won't, and your piggy will lose weight and become
weaker.

Far better to get the molars trimmed by an experienced exotics vet (and
better to ask for isoflurane as an anaesthetic rather than domitor and
ketamine as isoflurane is eliminated by the body very quickly), or consult
a rodentologist (the Cambridge Cavy Trust will be able to advise).

Hope this helps - good luck little Adam!

Kay
