Samantha,
I use styptic powder; I usually get mine from a pet
supply store or online. I've never seen any at the
commissary, but you might check the section where they
have shaving cream and razors--my dad always has a
little "pen" of styptic powder (looks like a piece of
chalk) in case he cuts himself shaving. Some people on
the digest have said they use flour and it works as
well...I've never tried it.
