Hi Jessica you were right I have experimented with diapers for my guinea pigs too.I think your on the right track with the socks because guinea pigs are so long on that end.Peter Gurney has taken his guinea pigs to hospitals for years.I have heard of people taking there dogs and cats to the nursing homes and the people just love it.Good Luck on your Idea! If you are a digest reader from some time you know I lost Kudoz in August of last year.Due to non-growing teeth.Well last month Adrian started to show the same symptoms as Kudoz did.He stopped pooping and lost weight really fast.He also became droopy and not himself.It took my 10 year old to say Mom Adrian needs help eating.So she pulled out the baby food grinder and we made guinea pig food. We used some water or apple juice with a tablespoon of pellets,carrots and cut up celery.To his water I added half a 500mg.Crushed  vitamin C tablet  to 2 cups of water blended.Plus timothy hay and fresh fruit and veggies.I have also ground up
 fruit and what ever else he likes for veggies and fruit.One week later and he is happy and on the go.I will also keep feeding him one meal of the ground up food  for sometime until he keeps up the poop and happyness.I wish I had not had to loose Kudoz to understand this. So please keep a eye on those piggies of yours.Adrian by the way is almost 5 years old.I think Winter has it's toll  on guinea pigs also.God bless them and keep us Happy.Shelly1260 at yahoo.com
