[Gpdd] [HEALTH] Help needed

I am wondering if someone can help me.  I have a guinea pig with a very
swollen foot.  It appears to have a scab over the base.  Her mother had
the same problem and died recently.  I did not get a lot of help at the
vet as they did know how to treat it.  I am not sure if it is hereditary
as her father does not have this problem.  Her breathing is very gaspy
also but she is eating well.  Any help would be appreciated as I don't
want to lose her.  Thanks.
