Dear all

I am in the UK and I think our version of Family Circle may be different
from yours in the States.

If someone could confirm this, I'd be grateful.

Also, can anyone in the States there let me know (via GPDD) the names of
some of your big Animal Welfare organisations, as I would like to email some
of them to report what Family Circle have given out as 'advice'.

I too have emailed Linda Fears.  The response that I got was auto-genreated,
but I have emailed her back to say I require a personal response.  Many
magazines work using auto-generated messages.

Also, many monthly national magazines work 3 months ahead of themselves
(i.e. they will be working on their November and December issues now), so a
retraction may not be immediate.  Therefore, I have asked that when Family
Circle write back to me, they specify in which issue they intend to provide
the retraction.

Many thanks for anyone who can email me back (via GPDD) with names of the
BIG animal welfare organisations in the States.
