Two suggestions I humbly offer:

1) Purchase a humidifier. (That is if your apt. doesn't have radiators on
which to place pans of water, as they did in the "good ol' days.")

2) Place a drop or two of olive oil--an edible natural/organic
conditioner--in your hands, and rub together. Then pet your piggie.
