[Gpdd] HEALTH - Eyes

Our sweet Cheekie has an eye irritation that just won't go away. I have
tried boric acid wash, human eye drops (Visine), and then obtained some
antibiotic ointment from the veterinarian. We thought that would certainly do the
trick. It has not. I think that Cheekie might have gotten some hay seed in
his eye at one time, which irritated the area under the bottom lid. Even
though there is nothing in the eye any more, it just won't go away. The bottom
lid kind of droops down and the white part of the eye is a little puffy or
swollen under there. Sometimes it looks a tiny bit pinkish as well, but not
always. I thought it could be "fatty eye", but Cheekie is young and very small.
He is not the least bit fat. Perhaps he does not have to be chubby to have
"fatty eye", but it is only in the one eye and looks like an irritation of some
sort to me. I saw a posting on the digest not too long ago that mentioned
an herbal or holistic eye drop of some kind that cleared up their piggie's eye
problem when nothing else seemed to work. I meant to save it at the time,
but I forgot to do so. Would the person that posted this remedy please send
me the name of the drops or repost it in the digest. Any other suggestions
would be appreciated as well. I wish to get Cheekie's eye problem cleared up
soon. It has been going on way too long, and nothing seems to work. We have
run out of ideas of what else to try. Thanks very much from all of us!
