Hi Janneke,

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to find out more about the 
"Golliwoog" plant. It was so kind of you. I wasn't expecting you to 
translate the whole website!!! The info from the Dutch forum is very 
interesting.

Joan told me about a US garden website, which had information about this 
plant from a horticultural point of view. It seems to be a vigorous ground 
cover plant in the warmer parts of the US as well as being used in hanging 
baskets but I have never seen it for sale here in England.

I was able to work out that the calcium levels were high so I will only use 
it as a little treat. It doesn't grow quickly enough in my greenhouse to 
supply more than the occasional leaf but some of the piggies like it. I 
never use chemicals in my garden so it will be safe to eat and a free treat 
is always good.

I hope that Yaya is doing OK.
