[Gpdd] [Care] Harness & leash?

I have been eyeing a harness and leash set to use for my piggies
occasionally:

Does anyone have any advice on whether these are harmful for piggies?  I
seem to recall someone saying on this list that guinealynx advised against
it, but my searches turned up nothing.  I know they are prone to back
injuries so I want to be careful.
