***GET SLYVAN TO THE VET NOW***

Sounds like his teeth to me, not eating and with a wet chin. Incisors
might look OK, but his molars could be a problem. If they are cutting in
to his tongue or cheek that's why he'll be in pain, and so all hunched up.
Get him to the Vet quickly, if they need to anaesthetise him ask for
isoflurane and O2 (gas rather than domitor and ketamine). Try to get
some critical care or pellet mash inside him...must eat or there is a
risk of liver failure after about 16 hours. Has he lost any weight? If
he has, that would all add up to a problem with the teeth. If it's
holiday weekend call your Vet's emergency service: NOW.

Assuming it's his teeth, the Vet will probably trim his teeth and give him
metacam for pain. He'll need to be syringe fed to keep his strength up,
and once he's had his teeth done, they are likely to need doing regularly.

Good luck little Sylvan

Kay
