Hi Karen.  Don't know who told you it's bad to feed lettuce to GP's.  It's essential they get lettuce in order for them to get all the vitamins and minerals they need.  Romaine lettuce is high in calcium which may or may not cause your piggies problems later on so I feed the Bug Romaine just 3 times a week.  Red and green lettuce should be fed at the rate of at least 1 cup per pig per day.  Iceberg lettuce is the exception to this as it actually has very little nutrition and even I don't eat it for that reason.
   
  I recommend you go to www.guinealynx.com and look under the feeding and dietary sections.  They even have a calculator you can use to be sure your little ones are getting the right CA/PH ratios.
