Third Annual DC Spring  Pignic
Sunday, June 3, 2007  
The pignic will be held from noon to 4 o'clock on June 3rd.  Drop-in at any 
time and stay as long as you want. The pignic will be hosted at  the usual 
location in Turkey Run Park in McLean, VA. Park directions and info  can be found

Bringing your pigs??  
    *   If so, the area is a forest, so bring a blanket or towels to put your 
pigs  on so that they don't eat the leaves and have a comfy place to nap.  
    *   Unlike past years, it is decided for everyone to keep their cavies in 
a  separate pens to avoid spreading disease and to prevent fighting. For this 
 reason, please bring your own pen/cage as there will be no spare cages. The  
"cubes" used for C&C cages make great temporary cages for this type of

info on how to do this.  
    *   Bring plenty of water-rich veggies for your pigs. You may also need 
to  bring a cavy water bottle.  
    *   Complimentary orchard grass hay and Oxbow pellets will be available 
for  your pigs to "snack", if desired. 

Bringing human companions?? 
    *   Friends and family are welcome! Bring as many people as you'd like!  
    *   You may want to bring a lunch and snacks for yourself and your human  
buddies as food and drinks are NOT provided. 
Other pignic stuff: 
    *   If you have any cavy related items to sell, bring them along! You 
have an  audience of cavy lovers awaiting.  
    *   MGPR will be selling some supplies such as bedding, hay, etc., but  
"selling" isn't the purpose of this picnic, and it is NOT intended as a  
fundraising event. The purpose of the pignic is pure "Cavy Fun"!
