[Gpdd] [MISCELLANEOUS] Guinea pigs in Egypt

Well, Mary Fran - have you any idea what "Sooslay" might be? Can you ask  
your arabic students, and I will ask Ahmed. But maybe he is correct, they do not  
have guinea pigs in Egypt. Perhaps Ahmed will introduce the very first one -  
only it will NOT be any of the Dolly Mixtures, and I will encourage him to 
seek  a pair from elsewhere in the Middle East, rather than transporting them 
from  Europe!!
 
I know they have cavies in Europe, Australia, North and South America, and  
apparently Israel. Does anyone know whether they exist on the African 
continent?  I lived there until I was 7 years old and never met one. How about Asia - 
India,  China?? I am just fascinated! Do we have gpdd-ers in any of these 
continents?  Actually, I think there was someone in Japan or Singapore, wasn't 
there? I just  wondered how many nations we cover?
