[Gpdd] [PETER GURNEY]: Reminder, March 9 Candle Lighting

Dear GPDDer's,
   
  Remember to mark your calenders, and light a candle in memory of Peter Gurney, in the evening, at or around 8:00 pm, in your particular time zone.  This will be the First Annual International Candlelight Ceremony in remembrance of Peter Gurney, who died of cancer in July 2006, in England.  He was a tireless advocate of guinea pigs, and his books and website has helped everyone here.
   
  This is also a wonderful way to honor and remember our piggies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and are now with Peter Gurney.  They are receiving the very best possible care from him (you know he is looking after all of them).
   
  You can share the moment with your piggies, a loved one (or ones) or alone.  If you are a member of another guinea pig organization, please pass this message on to them.  The more, the better.
