Stefanie,

Your post struck a chord with me as I am the local eccentric cutting grass with shears ( not scissors ) in various safe places around our villages. Out in all weathers and sometimes drying it by a radiator before the herd enjoy it. I have long since stopped being embarrassed by it all as calls of " You can do mine when you've finished " and " It'll take you a long time to cut this field " have become so commonplace over the years. I often get the "lawnmower" comment too! I am often asked what I am doing. "Er....Cutting grass!" what else? Sometimes I say that I am testing the grass for the Environment Agency and get some interesting comments. Just occasionally someone will say " You must have guinea pigs!" and that is the cue for a long conversation.

Your father is an absolute treasure and a first class substitute slave. The Piggyfriends salute him.

A big piggy welcome to the new little ones. Have you named them all yet?

Best wishes,

Penny and the Piggyfriends.
