Hi,

My guinea Tilly has developed swollen nipples - I think that this is recent as I pick her up frequently and I've just noticed it straight away.

She has been a bit fussy with fresh food not eating cucumber, which is normally devored straight away. She is being picky with other veg she normally eats, so she has eaten tomato, grass and dandelions for say the last two weeks.

It don't think that it fits with ovarian cancer as there were some pictures on the web and there is no crustiness or hair loss. She is definitely not pregnant, so I am confused what this could be. Could it be mastitis? How do you treat this?

I have just read that poor hygiene could be responsible for this - she has an indoor home that I clean with water. Worried about usingMilton sterilising fluid - contains bleach? and cider vinegar mixed with water reallys stinks - imagining her sensitive nose. What does everyone else use?

Thanks,
Suzanne
