This might sound a bit gross, but whenever I have had a piggy boy with anal
impaction, I pop the poo that has been removed back in the cabin.  The
reason for this is they might want to eat it; they normally reingest the
special caecotropes, so by putting back the poo in for them at least they
have the choice.  If it is ignored, throw it away, but it can help their
digestion and avoid the need for supplements (nothing is better than what's
natural).
