Dear Samantha and Tabitha, this is The Lady Bug here. Yes (sigh) slaves can be so puzzling in their actions sometimes. My slave has put the funny smelly stuff on me too but she usually distracts me and I don't realize what she's done until she's finished. Then it's too late! She can be so sneaky.

Have no fear little Tabitha, the hair on your side will grow back quickly and you'll never know it was gone. Just be sure to keep that side away from Samantha so she'll forget to give you a bad time.

Running on cement sounds like fun. My mommy (err, slave) says there are too many predators here for me to run outside so she lets me play on the living room floor. We, it seems, have hawks, dogs and cats around here and I agree, I don't think I'd like to meet any of them! She does have a brick in my house that I use as a table when she gives me greens. I have to stand on it but I fool her, I drag the food onto my Carefresh! I'll eat where I want not where she wants! She has said that it is good for my nails and since she's a chicken about cutting my beautiful black nails I have to go to the awful vet when they need doing. I've sure seen an awful lot of him over the years!

My slave says to tell your slave that she's sorry she is not feeling well. She says she knows how miserable it is to spend all your time in the bathroom. Personally, I don't know what she's talking about but I guess it's not fun.

It is time for me to go to bed for the night. My slave has given me a (much too small!) piece of carrot and a big pile of greens. I have plenty of pellets so there's really no need for me to disturb her in the night when I get hungry. If I ever run out though, I won't hesitate but she can be very crabby before her morning coffee!!

The Lady Bug, Mistress to Joan
