[Gpdd] Misc: Why Guinea Pigs Lick

Our Mimi is a licker...she seems to prefer to lick me rather than my boyfriend (which is funny, since she's a TOTAL "Daddy's Girl").  We see her at her mineral wheel just about every day, so I don't think there's some sort of deficiency she's acting on.

She's also a nibbler -- the boyfriend's got more shirts with tiny holes in the chest than he can count.  She seems to mostly do that when she's bored, so maybe the licking behavior is related...
