[Gpdd] [CARE] Senior Pigs

Candy, I just read your post about how to care for senior pigs.  Topper and
Seussy are about the same age but your Topper is two months older. :-)  At
Seussy's prime of life, he weighed almost 3lbs.  Now, he's about 2.5 lbs.
It concerns me that he's losing weight gradually.  My vet said that older
piggies have a harder time metabolizing food.  She suggested adding a bit of
sunflower oil to his Cavy Cuisine.  I'm curious about other recommendations
that you guys have on taking care of elder pigs.

My heart aches to know that Seussy is so old.  He sleeps a lot more than he
used to.  It doesn't take much to wear him out.  Eating meals these days
seems to make him tired.  He sleeps a lot longer too.  No more of those six
minute naps.  On the other hand, he still is the voice of my two boars.  He
screams at me in the morning to remind me for his breakfast!  His voice
echoes throughout the whole house. :-)
