Hola Piglets & Slaves!
First, I would like to Thank You all
who have written me personally and
on the Digest with your ideas and
concerns. I really Appreciate it and
God knows this is only place that
understands my pig concerns...
and obsession. :-)
Obbb-ssseeesssion...
PS saw Dr. G today and the x-rays
were clear...no stones! (whew!!!) But,
he did mention that her bladder was
kinda big for her body, but nothing to
be alarmed about. Hmmm... Her urinalysis
showed some traces of crystals but
not great enough to be overly concerned.
Now, I have been syringing her lots of
extra water. This is how it goes down--
First, I'll ask the Princess,
"Are you UP for the Challenge?!?!?"
Then, she looks at me with those determined
eyes ^..^ and then I start syringing her
as much water as she'll take in, as I
chant, "Chug! Chug! Chug!" Mmmmm...
takes me back to 'ole college dayz--
Okay, so I have named the process of
me syringing the Princess her extra water:
Princess Snowflake Chug Challenge!!!
(PSCC) I know, I know, I just couldn't resist.
Afterall, my Beloved Brownie Bear had
her BBPH (Brownie Bear Power Hour). :-)
Well, her urine tested negative for blood.
Which I was already aware of, because
(using the urine strips)
she was negative for blood on Tues &
Wednes nights, and also this morning (Thurs).
She was positive for blood on Sun & Mon
nights. Since Sunday night, I have been
giving her 2 Shilintong tablets (crushed/
mixed w/water) in the evenings. And I am
convinced that the herb along with the
extra extra water from syringing has flushed
some of the 'demons' out.
Dr. G put her on Cipro-something? the
antibiotic. I can't remember how to spell it.
And she'll be on that for the next 10-14 days.
PS doesn't like the taste and I have to
agree, it's pretty nasty. [Yes, I tasted it and
I am not ashamed! :-) hee] I gave her a
piece of melon afterwards and she seemed
to have forgotten how bad the medicine was.
I will be watching her very closely. I just want
to see her drink water on her own. Although,
I don't mind syringing her the extra water, I
would really prefer if she just drank it on her
own, like she used to. Hopefully, if she does
have a little infection 'down there', the medicine
will clear it up and she'll be back to normal
in no time!
Tomorrow morning, I will be sending out their
Halloween 2008 website!!! I FINALLY figured
out how to set up my own website, so I didn't
need to beg PS's Daddy (my almost ex-Hubby)
for his website. So, I was Very Proud of Meeee!!!
And I can't wait for you all to seeeeee! (Wow, I'm
a Poet and I didn't Know it). I'm getting silly, it's
getting close to bedtime...
Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeeeeps,
Leah...Slave to Princess Snowflake
& Bertie Pig :-)
