Nichelle and family, we were so very sorry to read of Sheba's passing.  Please accept our belated condolences.  It was so sad to hear that she suddenly became lethargic, but we are glad that she passed to the Bridge safely, with her family surrounding her.  How poignant that your nine-year-old daughter never remembers a time before her.  Thank you for sharing some of your memories of Sheba, such as how you adopted her to comfort you on the first anniversary of your first daughter's passing (our condolences) and how she kept you company when you were studying to become a medical transcriptionist.  Piggies are such special beings, and we know she knew how very much you loved her; she was a lucky girl.  

On a happier note, how great that you have adopted Solomon.  We'll look forward to hearing more about him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
