I am relieved that your little foster girl is not pregnant after all.

I wonder what she has done to her ear. I would bathe the ear very carefully with some saline solution. You might be able to see what is under the crusty blood. Apply some antibiotic cream or something like Dermisol, Savlon or Vaseline to keep out the dirt.

We all wish her well at the vets.
