Corrinne,

 I know you want this behind you (and rightly so!), but if you can, I
would go onto a review website like Yelp or something similar, find that
vet's page
and give a review, letting everyone know exactly what happened. That way
the same fate doesn't befall anyone else who may be searching for piggie
vets
in your area. Any good vet would have either given you a small reduction
in price, or listened to the other options she could have performed so
she knew better next time.
