Dear Jean,
What an amazing story of Amelia the "mouse".
She sounded so very sweet and I'm sure you're
missing her.  I think we react differently to the
loss of different pets; not because we love them
any less as the pain and feeling of loss and 
sadness is still there.  It just happens.  Amelia
knew how much she was loved while she was
your little girl and that's what mattered...your
hugs to her while she was alive, not your tears
afterward.
I was shocked to hear that the vet thought that
her babies were kidney stones!  HOW scary is
that!  Thankfully, you followed your heart and
Amelia blessed you with two babies.  I think
my mouth dropped open when I read that one of
her babies had the "perfect" pattern the breeder
was hoping for.  Wow...quite a story!
Please take care and know that I'm thinking of
you during this sad time.  I hope my Spicy met
Amelia at the Bridge...Spicy chattering away and
Amelia listening to every "word"...perfect piggy
pals.
