I noticed that even though she has been off her ABs for 3-4 weeks, Mimi was still crying every now & then when she went to the bathroom. I determined that it is when she poos. I called the vet & he said he would look at her x-ray again from when we were checking to see if she had a stone & sure enough she has a spur on her back. When she pushes to poo it must put pressure on the spur sometimes. She can go for days with no problems & then some days she will cry every now & then. He gave me some Metacam to give her on the days when she is having pain. He said it is most likely due to age. She is about 5 years old now. Is there anything else I should do for her? She seems fine most of the time. Thanks.
