Hazelnut's mom, it was with much sadness that we read of Hazelnut's passing.  Please accept our condolences.  It sounds as though she was your last pig, and we are so very sorry.  How wonderful, though, that you adopted her from the classroom.  We know Hazelnut was thrilled to be in your loving home.  How sweet, too, that she would occasionally decide to allow you to hold and pet her.  Piggies do have their different "pigsonalities," don't they?

We hope that someone in your area has been able to use your guinea-pig items.  We're sure that Hazelnut would be honored that you are passing them along in her memory.

Should you ever decide to get another piggie, we'd love to hear from you on the Digest.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
