Dear Jocelyn,

How sorry I was to read that your dear little man, Gruden, has left for the
Rainbow Bridge.

I suppose that the only consolation lies in the fact that he had the very
best of veterinary care. Very few Slaves can say that they have a vet with
30 years of piggy experience.

Although 5 is a good age for a piggy, we all hope that they can make just
one more year, one more month, even a week.

You will have such happy memories of him to guide you through your grief
and I am sending my condolences to you and Dmitri and Apollo, who will be
missing their little friend.
