Guinea pigs are great pets for adults!  Joe and I got our first GP as adults with grown children.  As grandchildren came along they enjoyed them, too.  I am allergic to cats and dogs have more needs than GPS. No shots, no walks to pee in the middle of the night, don't throw up on you carpet, etc.  I am a widow now and adopted Callie and Josie to keep me company last year and I am 73 years old.  I live in Massachusetts,  USA.
