Glad to read Nugget is doing better!
This morning I noticed Callie's eye didn't look right.  I checked it out and could see a small piece of hay in it.  I gently pulled it out and there was a little blood.  Her eye looked okay except for the lower lid was red.  She seems fine otherwise so I put her back in her home and will check her throughout the day.  I will watch for signs of infection and take her to the vet if needed.  Is that okay or should I take her to the vet now?
I usually buy a soft hay but bought some courser this time.  Tossing that out!
