Dear Mommy Corrine,

I was shocked and saddened to read of the abrupt passing of your dear
Sunshine piggy. Please accept my deepest sympathy, and hope you will be
comforted by memories of the good times and love that you shared.

Others may be able to give you more specific information, but from all that
I know of you, I think it is totally impossible that you could have done
anything to harm Sunshine. I don't know all her particulars, but, along
with many others, I have experienced that heartbreak of the sudden death of
an apparently happy and healthy piggy.

We know that these little creatures may hide symptoms of illness, and look
fine to all outward appearances, when actually they are very ill. Sometimes
an ailing piggy will look unwell, but many times, they will not, and the
first you know of their trouble is when they suddenly expire.

Please consider that your loving care made Sunshine's life wonderful, and
that she was very happy and lucky to have had you as her mommy. I hope you
can find comfort and peace.

Any time we lose a piggy, it is too soon. But the joy of having them in our
lives outweighs the pain of losing them.
