Sometimes the larger babies will die in utero because
the mother's system can't sustain them.  I've also
heard they can suffocate in the birth canal whereas
the smaller babies have the advantage.  I fostered
pregnant sows who lost babies.  One rejected them
altogether which was horrifying...

I wish the new arrivals good health.  Sounds like
you're a good caregiver too.
