My piggies started out really wild, biting and chattering at me every time
I picked them up. So I started wearing overly long sleeved cotton sweaters
or denim shirts so that if they do bite, they have a harder time breaking
the skin. I can ball the ends of the sleeves over my hands to keep from
having my fingers nibbled and to keep from getting piggy urine from their
feet on my hands directly when I pick them up. They also like the sleeves
because they are soft and can be nibbled. (Brunhilde is vision impaired
and likes to investigate things orally. Well, for that matter they all
like investigating things orally, I suppose.) They are also a lot happier
being held when I have on a sweater they can cuddle up with on my lap.
Their favorite texture is chenille, which feels really good on their feet.
