I have never heard of a link between the two.  Neither of my two neutered 
boys, who are now at the Bridge, ever had an impaction problem.  My friend Brook 
has a neutered boy who frequently gets impacted.

Health and temperment wise, it's a good idea to neuter.  It is a safe surgery 
in the hands of an EXPERIENCED exotic vet.
