I have heard from a dog friend of mine that apple seeds are full of arsenic-therefore I cut any apples that I give my dog in half and remove the seeds first. He had been getting whole apples for the first 4 or 5 years of his life and hasn't shown any bad symptoms from them that I recognized, but better safe than sorry! Hope this helps-Susanna
