[Gpdd] ANNOUNCEMENT: sympathy

Dear Mary, Marilou, and Sarah:

In addition to expressing my sympathy for the passing of your piggies Stretch, Sierra and Rajah, I wanted to thank you for honoring us all on the gpdd with the trust and courage it took for you all to write your tender and beautiful stories of your piggies' lives and leave-taking.  In the midst of your sorrow, you reached out in confident trust to share with us all your feelings of joy in your piggies' lives and your pain in their passing, knowing you had a community of like minded folks who would want to extend friendship and sympathy to you.  It's easy to share happy news, but much harder to share sad news, and I want to acknowledge appreciation for this and humbly thank you.  You gave us all a great gift, and made us all understand anew the incredible love and care we give our little friends, and the love and happiness they return to us.
