Hello Everyone, I have been lurking here for some while, this is my first
post to the list!

Just felt that I had to reply to Nicola, as my piggies have been 'Guinea
Pigs' for some research into ovarian cysts, held at the Royal Vet College
here in the UK. Yes, Nicola I would say that without a doubt that your Lily
has OC. Sometimes hormone injections can help this, 2 injections one month
apart. But alas this did not help my Fluffy pig. She had a spay at 4.5
yrs. My vet gave her a good examination and said that her heart sounded
strong, so we went for it, and she hasn't looked back. OC are very common
in piggies, and they often lead to infection of the uterus which my Fluffy
also had - look out for any signs of a discharge.

HTH, I hope everything works out well for Lily.
Best wishes, Jackie H
