I know what you mean about the teeth chattering!

We brought Dougal and Brodie home the same day from PetCo (different stores) and for their first few months together, everything was excellent.  Then I noticed that Dougal was keeping Brodie away from the food.  (And Dougal was smaller than Brodie at the time)  Also, we noticed a lot of nipping going on between the two of them.  It was getting kind of nasty so we put Brodie in with Duncan and they got on just fine.  Brodie got more to eat (he's now my "Chunky Monkey"), but when we put the 3 of them out for floor time, the "chattering" began between Dougal and Brodie.  That escalated to out and out rolling-around-fur-flying-biting knockdowndragout fighting.  When there are bars between them they are fine.  Still can't put Dougal and Brodie together!  Dougal absolutely worships Duncan, and pesters the daylights out of Duncan when they're out together; then he settles down.  I don't know what caused the problem, and I wish we could solve it, cause even tho the condos are right next to each other, Dougal gets "left out".  I'd be interested to see if anyone has a solution for my boys.

Good luck with Spike (my Dougal has that little spikey thing goin on with his hair too!)  Spike sounds so cuddly!  We all send Hugs and Wheeeeks!!
