When Parsifal would get impacted he looked like he was
carrying a load in his "pants."  Like a kid with a
full diaper.  Peter Gurney's site has a great section
on it http://www.oginet.com/pgurney/analimpact.htm . 
He describes how to remove the impaction which is easy
but SMELLY.   I recommend that you do it carefully
over the toilet and if you don't feel secure holding a
squirming guinea pig over a toilet, put down a paper
towel or two layers of kleenex on the counter and
squeeze it out over that.  You will want to flush it
immediately, put the pig back in a safe place
(actually you might need to put the pig back first
then flush the business) and wash your hands
thoroughly to remove the smell.  My husband always
referred to it as squeezing out the cookie dough
because that is what the consistency was like.  So
he'd come in the bedroom and say, "I just squeezed out
Parsifal's cookie dough."  I'm just lucky that he
loves the animals as much as I do and is involved in
their care.  His descriptions for their impacted
matter leaves something to be desired.
