 Susi - Your ' Disaster Preparedness for Pets ' article was awsome!  It was comprehensive beyond belief.  Thanks so much for putting so much thought into something we all overlook.  It's like insurance, you tend to think about it only when you need it!  
 
May i add to your list?  Batteries and flaslights, plural? In case the power goes out before you can pack up in the dark of the night with all of your pets and their provisions.  This may be obvious, but keeping an extra one near or in the pets things might be a help.  Also, the power could go out in the shelter or hotel that you are in!  -holly
