Mary Fran,

I was so saddened and shocked to read about Brownie. The way you described her made
me want to cry, she sounded so sweet and peaceful. Maybe all of the business you are
having to tend to will help you to take your mind somewhere so you won't be so sad.
Going to the lake sounds like just the thing to help cheer Cookie up. Hopefully she
won't get *too* many grass stains on her unruly hair.
