Donna,

You won't be able to tell if she is pregnant or not unless you weighed her on a weekly basis and she has gained a considerate amount of weight or about 2-3 weeks prior to giving birth, you will feel movement.

If she is pregnant and you want to take precaution, give her plenty of exercise to prevent toxemia, give her high calcium foods and continue to give Teddy the regular greens you gave her previously.

Regarding lethals, you really won't know for sure until after the pups are born. They are all white, may be blind and/or deaf, missing incisors, some will have deformities you won't be able to see such as deformed organs or missing some of their innards. If that is the case, they will die within a few hours of birth. Some lethals can live for a while, if constant care is given and you assist them in their eating.

Squeaky or Teddy can carry the roan or dalmatian gene, but you won't know that until the litter arrives.

Good luck with Teddy and lets hope for the best.

  Wheeks to all,
