Hey Carla and Digesters,

I'm sorry I haven't been submitting lately. Life has been crazy and I
promise I am trying to catch up on the digest.
Sometimes I let my personal stuff go (i.e. computer time) to have Piggie
Time, which is soothing for my soul with all the piggie kisses.

Yes, I am the proud owner of Mozart, the 4 1/2 lb piggie. He is a black and
white Abby with a big personality and the hair to match.
He gets the same amount of food/exercise&cuddle time as his Peruvian brother
Shakespeare who is approx. 3 lbs. (which I think is mostly hair)
My family and I joke that my Mozart could take out a small dog if had a mind
to.
The vet checked him out last November for his yearly exam and everything
checked out normal, even though he is bigger.
He doesn't have a lot of "pudge" and he likes to run around his cage all the
time (sometimes at 2-3AM in the morning - ugh)
He has his own C&C cage "sort of." I built a 3X3 grid and both boys have a
under the bed container that takes up exactly 1/2 of the cage.
It is open air and has a separator (made from the leftover grid) between the
2 sections,
so the boys can see/talk/kiss/harass each other for the company - but not
"fight."
I never thought of him as overly active or lazy, because Shakespeare acts
almost the same way.
He will be 3 yrs old in May. His diet includes timothy hay, guinea pig
pellets, and fresh veggies - like romaine, spinach.
He gets a mini carrot on Sundays and Wednesdays.

And even though he is an active pig, he loves snuggle time.
I let him chill on my chest and he lays down to have his nose rubbed and
ears scratched and takes a nap.
It is the most endearing thing. He snuggles partially under a towel and then
slowly goes to sleep while I am petting him.

Well, that's Mozart. He also loves to piggie popcorn to my collection of
Mozart Symphonies (hence the name) and he likes to think of himself as
A "Larger than Life" piggie.

Sorry so long- I think I put all I could think of in this "getting to know
Mozart" entry.

Slave Anna
Mozart and Shakespeare would like to send "shout outs" to the lovely ladies
Ivory and Hermione and all their piggie friends.
