To Anne, whose friends's piggy has cataracts - tell your friend not to worry!

Sadly, this is not uncommon in piggies and usually affects both eyes. Good news is that this does not seem to cause any problem to the piggies.

I have now, and have had in the past, piggies with cataracts and they run about with their friends as easily as a sighted piggy. They have no trouble finding the food or the water bottle.

Piggies' eyesight is poor anyway and they depend on their ears and noses far more than their eyesight, so your friend's piggy will be OK.

Regards from Penny and the Piggyfriends.
