Rachel, - I use towels in my cages and put litter boxes with Carefresh in the corners they go in the most. I bought a cheap DirtDevil that I vacuum out their cages every couple of days. I change the litter boxes every day to every day and half. They do about half of their business in the litter boxes. So it is not to bad.....Sounds a little crazy....lol....I have enough towels to do three full changes of their cages. ....It's not as expensive, but your are going to be doing extra laundry..........
   
  I am bummed regarding my boys....Since I have started working they don't weeeek and talk when I walk in the door anymore. I think they have figured out my routine. I come home, drop off my bag, go to my room change clothes, do what I need to and then come back in to feed them. As soon as I open the fridge they go crazy. But the old excitement they use to have is gone. The do cuddle more when we have our one on one time. Thank goodness, because otherwise I would have a complex......
  Who said that our piggies weren't smart......It's crazy at times....LOL
   
  My heart and thoughts go out to those have lost a beloved baby..... I definitely feel for you.......
