Stacy,

I am so sad that you have lost another of the Squee Squad. It is so hard to know what to do for the best but given Teddy's age, I would have been reluctant to go ahead with such major surgery, especially with her previous medical history. For what it is worth, I think that you did the right thing, letting Teddy live out her days with her friends.

Please believe that you have done nothing wrong. This happens to all of us who have lots of piggies. It has happened to me that several piggies have all reached old age at around the same time and I know that I am going to be in for a sad time with them. Every time I think "never again" but then another piggy comes along needing a home and I take them in, never thinking of the heartbreak ahead.

All we can do is love them for as long as we can as you have done with all of the Squee Squad.

I hope that Maxine and Tigger will be OK. At least neither of them has been left alone.
